Expressions through Design Elements & Principles

This project aims to introduce basic understanding of the architectural design elements and principles, processes and approaches in generating ideas, developing design, creating geometric 2D artworks and transform them into 3D form, with the title of Expressions through Architecture Design Elements and Principles.

In groups, we will have to decide on our selections of architectural design elements and principles.

The Serial Geometry Tattoo Transformation

Part 1-3

The first part of the project required us to freehand sketch the geometric shapes of the chosen Design Elements and Principles. Next, we are to draw the geometric shapes into a tattoo stamp to express the selected Elements and Principles. For the 3rd part of the project, using the selected compositions, we are to draw and compose the geometric shapes into a tattoo stamp artwork

From the collection of artworks in Part 3, we are to select 1 artwork and extrude directly from the artwork into 6 different models and to continue to express the selected word in Part 3 which is Twisting/Rotating through the 3D transformation.
